Through the museum The Kennedys the Kennedy family returns to the place which had a huge impact on them. Only a few steps from the museum on the other side of the “Brandenburger Tor”, J.F. Kennedy saw the Berlin wall for the first time. Emotionally erupted and highly acclaimed by hundred thousands of people J.F.K declared his solidarity with the people of West-Berlin and spoke his most famous words in front of the “Schöneberger Rathaus” ( Schöneberg’s city hall ): “ Ich bin ein Berliner!”
